Stokes Bay Cliffs - 80 acres of undisturbed, heritage land with over 800 meters of coastal frontage. The house is set back on an elevated clearing with 180 degree ocean views, over looking native bush that hosts hundreds of kangaroos, wallabies and other furry and feathered creatures. Walking trails and a 4WD track take you to a stunning, rocky coast which leads to turquoise, sandy bottom swimming and snorkeling holes. A seperate studio guest house is also available.
MAIN HOUSE: A king and queen bedroom and a living room that you can convert to a sleeping quarter if necessary. This luxurious, isolated and unique property is designed for people who want to experience nature... without other tourists. Great for a couple wanting a romantic getaway. Or a small family. Or two couples looking for a great base from which to explore the island and socialize over quality food and wine, while still feeling as though they have their own space (bedrooms at opposite ends with their own bathroom). Larger groups can use the guest house, which has a queen bed, single bed (alcove - not seperate room), bathroom and half kitchen with mini fridge.
GUEST HOUSE: Has a queen and a single (alcove) with bathroom and half kitchen and lounge. The guest house is only available to people booking the mainhouse and is offered at an additional cost to cover cleaning and wear and tear/maintenance, water use, etc.
With the northern exposure, winters here are particularly sublime with beautiful sunsets and warm days when the sun is out, due to shelter from the southerly winds. Dining outside with a fire and no bugs makes winter a favourite time for some - the owner included.
